Thank goodness for Panda Garden! I've been waiting for Chinese food that is appropriately priced and taste like it came from a hole in the wall in New York. Panda Garden finally delivered this experience!
Best wonton soup in town. Tastiest egg rolls that remind me of what I used to get in rural Pennsylvania. Relatively inexpensive lunch and dinner combos.
Worth the drive to Westbrook from SoPo when I'm craving take out.
I ate in the seating area once and it's everything you want in a moderately priced Chinese food restaurant. Quick service, good eats, and portions that are enough to take some home. Recommendation this lo mein above others in town. -

Three stars for service, and mates meal. I got garlic chicken, off the lunch menu. Along with Won-Ton soup. The soup was great. Service was super.
The garlic chicken to me was almost inedible, way way too much rice wine vinegar is my guess, resulting in a strong metallic taste. The chicken pieces seemed pre-chewed as well, a feeling in the mouth as if someone had already chewed it and passed it off. Yuk.
My girlfriend got a #32 which was mostly a tiny poopoo platter, with an egg roll, she liked that dish fine.
They do not honor the Yelp buy one get one for half for lunch BTW, only dinner. No tea at lunch was served, but you can have it if you ask I guess, they don't offer it is all.
The place is clean, service was polite and attentive, almost robotic.
I haven't been here in over four years, and found that it is not quite the same. -

Great service, delicious food. Very good atmosphere, and pretty quiet, therefore good for talking. The food is great. I'd recommend the pork fried rice with some duck sauce on top. It may sound crazy ,but it's great. The beverages are superb, really anything you'd like is good

I've enjoyed this place for years, one of the best in Portland (the other one is Imperial China in SoPo by the mall). Entrees always tasty and generous portions, hot n sour soup is delicious. I've never had a bad meal experience here..ever!

Panda Garden is my go to chinese food restaurant. Very accommodating, they were unable to accept an substitutes on New Years because of how busy they were. They gave us a free appetizer because they were unable to substitute. Great customer service and awesome food.
Had to edit and write again that their food and customer service is just that GOOD!
